Have a look at the Special Edition page to see a few other items they found at the same time.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Pelikan M1000 and M1005 fountain pens are the largest pen in Pelikan’s range - essentially it is the Pelikan the flagship pen which features a flexible (see below) 18 carat gold nib with rhodium decoration giving a silver coloured finish. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe M1005 nibs are slightly more flexible than the nibs from the rest of the Söuveran range so they will write a little broader than you may expect depending on how much pressure is used to write. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe M1005 has a partial brass internal mechanism, giving it a substantial weight. The metal trim of the pen is 24 carat gold plated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe striped barrel body of the M1005 is made from celluloid acetate which is a cotton derivative and so each one is slightly different to each other, much like wood has different knots and patterns. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe gift box included is also pictured and has a removable lid and an ivory coloured faux leather pouch for protecting the pen when being stored or carried.
