How to remove and fit a nib in a Pelikan fountain pen

Make sure the pen is empty of ink and put the nib under a running tap to remove any remaining ink from the nib.

Hold the front and back of the nib of the pen in between your left index finger and thumb.
Turn the main barrel of the pen (red in the picture) anti-clockwise with your right hand. Do not turn the end of the pen (the filler knob) because this will only move the internal piston, used to fill the pen with ink.

The nib will move out from the pen barrel and can be removed once unscrewed all the way.
